Welcome to the Office of Disability Services!

The mission of the Office of Disability Services is to ensure access to academic programs and campus facilities of UNC Charlotte for all individuals.

This website is organized into the following areas:

Student Services : The Student Services web page has links on the left hand side to the following topics: services for current students, information for future students, transfer students, students transitioning from high school, information for parents, how to register for services, academic accommodations, documentation verification forms,counseling and consultation,scholarship information, temporary disability, housing, personal care attendants, and FAQ's.
Faculty/Staff Information : The Faculty/ Staff web page has links on the left hand side to the following topics: information for faculty and staff regarding testing and note taking services, FAQ's, faculty emails on line, and the Reference Guide for working with students with disabilities.
Campus Accessibility: The Campus Accessibility web page has links on the left hand side regarding: maps, parking, construction, and information for visitors.
News and Events: The News and Events web page has up to date information regarding programs and opportunities for the campus community. In addition to updates, the page also has links on the left hand side to the Disability Services newsletter, Tapestry, and a listing of programs offered by our office.
Other Resources: The Resources web page has links on the left hand side to campus, community, and national resources for students with disabilities. Also included are resources focused on raising disability awareness.
Policies and Procedures: The Policies and Procedures web page has links on the left hand side regarding the following topics: laws regarding disability, confidentiality of services, student responsibilities, and the student grievance policy.
