Study Abroad
Studying abroad is a wonderful experience
that allows eligible students the opportunity to explore education and cultures outside the
walls of UNC Charlotte.
The Office of Education Abroad (OEA) facilitates programs offered to
UNC Charlotte students.
Students with disabilities are encouraged
to study abroad!
The offices of Disability Services and
Education Abroad work together to address the accommodation needs of students
with documented disabilities.
Please note that physical accessibility
along with the availability of resources and accommodations will vary depending
upon the country and the institution. The accommodations you receive through
Disability Services at UNC Charlotte may not be offered in other countries.
The advisors in Education Abroad can help
you decide which destination and program would be the best match for you based
upon your needs and interests.
Students interested in studying abroad
should begin the planning process at least a year in advance.
When planning to study abroad, registered
students are advised to meet with a DS counselor early on in the process to
discuss specific accommodations.
Students not registered with the Office of
Disability Services will need to
submit documentation in order to determine eligibility for academic
accommodations.

programs, please visit the
