Text Books in Alternate Format
Text books in alternate formats are available to students based on their
documented disability. Our office works with Reading For the Blind & Dyslexic
(RFB&D) to obtain books on tape, when available.
The Office of Disability Services also has the capability to electronically
convert text when suitable. This requires the unbinding of books in order for
the text to be scanned and placed onto discs or emailed to students.
It is important to meet with Disability Services early when there is a need
for texts in alternative format in order to ensure that students have their text
available when needed for class work
