Campus Accessibility
IMPORTANT - SUMMER
2008 CAMPUS CONSTRUCTION
There are numerous construction projects underway on the
UNC Charlotte campus this summer. As a result of the construction many parking
lots and pathways have been altered.
Please contact
our office prior to arriving on campus so we can provide you with the
most accurate information regarding accessibility and the current construction.
For students with mobility concerns, please note that the
accessible path around SAC, Woodward, College of Health & Human Services, and
Burson is directly impacted by the construction.
It is advised that students with mobility concerns utilize
the elevator located in the Cone Center as an accessible route. There is an
automatic door to the entrance on the first floor of the North Side of Cone
Center which will provide access to the elevator.
Atkins Library and the remainder of campus can be accessed from the third floor
of the Cone Center.
For additional information regarding construction you may
also visit the
traffic advisory page.
Our office works to ensure physical accessibility on the UNC Charlotte
campus. The links to the University's maps, parking, and visitor section
will provide valuable information for students, faculty/staff, and visitors.
Please contact our office if you experience any barriers.
